If you haven't yet been a part of the spontaneity,
frivolity, madness, humor, diversity,
improvisation, camaraderie and genuine
great local talent that IS the Open Mic Wednesday
at T.G.'s, I recommend it. I've been
hosting it every Wednesday for almost
nine years now and never imagined I'd still be doing it
this long, but it is because of the aforementioned
attributes that I am. It is a new and
different experience almost every week. Come for
the music, stay for the food and still
get home early! (And don't forget to
check on what the "dollar
beer" is for the night). All performers are welcome
to this Wednesday night ritual. The list goes
out at 8:30. Bring your instrument and
your friends for your 20 minutes of fame
and enjoy the music, fun, food and grog.
You'll be able to watch the open mic live as it's happening or go to the website where past open mics are stored and watch any of them any time. Web cast starts at 8:30 p.m. so tune in and check it out and chat with us a bit - from where ever you are in the world.
